The Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) has determined that PUF-Seal® is safe for use in underground mines providing the requirements of 30 CFR Part 47 (Hazard Communications) and 30 CFR 57.4560 (Fire-Retardant Timber in Mine Entrances) are followed.

MineSeal, LLC is committed to advance the environmental principles of the minerals industry that embody the protection of human health, the natural environment, social and economic growth. We are committed to minimize any environmental impacts from our mine closure products and services. Therefore, we support the efficient and economic use of resources and materials and the minimization of waste.

To this end, MineSeal, LLC recycles its product boxes and related packaging materials whenever possible. We encourage our client base to do the same and as an incentive, we will refund a portion of materials costs to our clients for packaging materials that are returned to us undamaged, unstained or otherwise soiled.
